Natasha Ellery has been riding competitively for over 25 years in all equestrian disciplines, however in 2004 she ventured into the world of Endurance riding with her homebred Anglo Arabian gelding Sundale Neptune (Ted). In 6 short years they have progressed from the 'hacks' trying their hand at Endurance to one of Western Australia and Australia's top endurance horse / rider combinations.
The success that they have both achieved, she believes is solely due to the preparation, care and attention provided to Ted both during training and competition. This ranges from regular massages, chiropractic sessions, to feeding the required vitamins, minerals and supplements to ensure he is both mentally and physically prepared for the job at hand.
One of Natasha's goals for 2010 is to represent Australia at the Trans Tasman competition being held in SA in November.
